If you recorded any of your stories using the audio feature, you can add scannable QR codes to your printed book — so anyone reading it can scan a code and listen to your voice.

In your story editor, each recording has an "Include in the printed book" toggle (on by default) — this controls exactly which recordings can be heard from a QR code.
When you go to print your book, you'll see a step called "What goes in your book" (this only appears if your book has at least one included recording). Here you can check "Add recording QR codes".
Then, you can choose where the codes go:
In the table of contents only — one QR code opens a page listing all your recordings
In the table of contents and on each story — also adds a small QR code to every story that has a recording
💡 What happens when someone scans a code?
The table of contents code opens a page listing every story in the book that has a recording — from there, tapping a story plays its recording. A code on an individual story opens straight to that story's recording. No app or login is needed to listen.
Before you can turn on QR codes, you'll need to confirm a checkbox: "I have the right to share these recordings and the consent of everyone in them." This is required and unchecked by default.
Keep in mind: anyone who has the printed book can scan the code and listen — there's no login required, so only include recordings you're comfortable with being heard by anyone who has a copy of the book.
