Good to know:
Pausing Weekly Emails: If you need a break or are going on vacation, you can stop the weekly story prompts without losing any of your work. Simply go to your "Manage Account" page and toggle the emails to "Off." You can re-enable them whenever you’re ready to resume.
Requesting an Extension: If you accidentally activated your membership too early and need more time to complete your book, please contact our support team. We can typically extend gift memberships by 1–2 months (or more in special circumstances) from our back office to ensure you get your full year of storytelling.
Profile Updates: You can change your email address, password, or profile photo at any time by clicking on "Settings" in your dashboard.
From your “Manage Accounts” page you can do the following:
Update your personal details
Change the email address linked to your account
Review and manage your billing details
Choose whether the person who gifted you MyStories can access your book
Edit a gift invitation (before it’s been sent)
Resend an invitation email (if it hasn’t yet been accepted)
Adjust the frequency of story prompt emails—or turn them off for your personal book

Click on your name in the top-right corner of the webpage, then click “Manage Account”.
How can I change the email address associated with my MyStories account?
In the “Your details” section, click on “Change email address”:
Next, in the pop-up which appears, enter your new email address:
Lastly, a 6-digit verification code will be sent to your new email. Once you enter this code when prompted to in the pop-up, your email address will be updated.
Can I edit the details of a MyStories gift invite after I've scheduled it?
This action is only possible if the gift invite has not been sent yet.
You can modify the invite details, such as the recipient's email, the start date, and/ or the gift message.
Scroll down to the “Your Purchases” section.
Within the “Your Purchases” section, you will see the option to “Change gift details” as shown below:
Click “Change gift details”, then, in the window that opens, adjust the details according to your wishes. Don’t forget to click on “Save changes” once your adjustments have been made.
Can I resend the invite email to my gift recipient ?
If the invite has not been accepted by the recipient, you can resend the invite email directly from your "Manage Account" page.
Scroll down to the “Your Purchases” section, where you will see the option to Resend invite.
Clicking on this will automatically send a new email to the recipient with all the details they need to get started.
Can I choose if the person who gifted me MyStories, can access my book?
In the “Your Purchases” section, you can choose whether to let the person who gifted you the membership also access and manage your stories.
Can I change the Frequency of story prompt emails for my personal book?
You can change the frequency of the story prompt emails, or choose not to receive them at all.
In the “Email preferences” section, click on where the current frequency is shown, then choose your preference for your prompt emails. Don’t forget to click on “Save” once you have made your adjustments.

Editing the Recipient’s Info: If you made a typo in the recipient's email or want to change the delivery date before the gift has been activated, you can do so through the link in your original purchase confirmation email or by contacting support.
Resending the Gift: If the recipient can't find their invite, you can resend the activation email directly from your "Order History" page.
