A dedication page lets you add a short, personal note at the front of your printed book — for example, who you wrote it for. It's optional, and it only appears in the printed book, not in the PDF preview on your dashboard.
Here's how to add one:
When you print your book, go to the "Choose content" step.
Check the box next to "Add a dedication page".
Type your note. You have up to 300 characters, and line breaks are preserved.
A preview of your dedication page appears on the right so you can see exactly how it will look before you print.
Where it appears
Your dedication prints in italics on its own page, right after the title page and before the table of contents.
For more control over the styling
Every new paragraph adds extra space above it. If you'd like more control over spacing or styling, add your dedication as an image instead — the same way you would for a title page.
If you change your mind
Unchecking the box keeps your text, so you can turn the dedication back on later without retyping it.
If you print more than once
Your dedication is saved with your book, so it's still there if you order another copy later. Editing it only affects future print orders — a book you already printed keeps the dedication it was printed with.
